ORBIT #1690 – Ort Binyamina high school
Orbit 1690, Ort Robotics Binyamina Team, has been participating the FRC (FIRST Robotics Competitions) game since 2005. During the 6 weeks game, the students have to build a robot according to a specific theme (design, fabricate and program). At the end of the 6 weeks, the robot is sent to the USA to inspection, and then to the competition event. 5,000 groups from around the world attend the competition (63 from Israel). Aran is one of the team’s mentors and sponsors. Alon Nahshon, Aran’s VP R&D accompanies the students during the design and fabrication stages providing professional information when needed. Aran also provides the students with parts for the robot. As previous FRC 2016 World Championship, also in 2019 the team has won the 2nd and honorable place!
