SAT-TRU is a very small and lightweight (micro) tactical On-the-Move (OTM) satellite communication terminal designed for independent special missions units, operating Beyond-Line-Of-Sight (BLOS).
The terminal consists Software Design Radio (SDR) modem and a Ku-band phased array antenna based on Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) with electronic beam steering.
A carrier board, managing all interfaces to various on-board components, including GPS, TCXO clock, PMU and FPGA to manage the components activation. The design conforms to MIL-STD guidelines.
